Website

The website is finally complete!  Thank you for your patience and be sure to check out the dogs and cats currently looking for a home and temporary residents that need a little time before they can be adopted into new families.  If you aren’t in a position to adopt please consider sponsoring a resident and ensuring that Hope4FuzieFaniez can continue to provide safe shelter for unwanted animals and those that are at risk of being euthanized for space.  We can’t save them all but with your help we can save more.

How you can help:

The economy is affecting everyone right now and the shelter is no exception.  We receive probably 10 calls per day asking if we can take in animals.  People are being put out of their homes and have nowhere to take their animals.  Some people with ranches in foreclosure just leave and leave their animals behind with no one to care for them.  We try to take in every single animal that we can possibly care for, but every shelter has limits.  Right now we are limited by finances.  Our debts at the veterinary hospital, even with deep discounts, are over $1,000 and we have a few little dogs that are badly in need of dentals.  We are also limited because we cannot afford to purchase some new cages to house new animals.  We are so grateful to all of you that help us financially and with donations.  It is because of you that we can help all of the animals that we do each month.  For those that would like to become involved, what we really need right now is regular financial donors; people that can commit to sending us a donation each month.  Please don’t think it needs to be a lot of money because even a five dollar bill would buy a bag of cat food each month.  You can find out more by checking out our donation page.

Success story:

As some of you know Hope4FuzieFaniez is located on a horse ranch and we also take in some homeless and unwanted horses.  Gonzo was one such horse but he’s now found a new loving family to live with.  He is a 6 year old quarter horse gelding and lives down the road with his new pasture mate.  Thank you for giving this guy another chance!

Sad Story:

Unfortunately, our dear older shelter cat Daisy has passed away.  She became ill last month but after a few days in the hospital she seemed to be back to her old self.  But, we found her a few weeks later in her bed in a ray of sunlight.  She apparently passed away in her sleep.  She never got a chance at a new home but at least she died with people who loved her.  Please give all of your furry kids an extra hug today.  They are with us for such a short time and every minute is precious.
