March 2010
Welcome to March!
We have some special little guys we’d like to highlight. The first is Mickey, a 7 year old purebred Pekingese. Mickey is happy, cute, funny, sweet, neutered, UTD on shots, de-wormed, and has recently had a dental. He is from a puppy mill and was used for a breeder for many years so will have to wear a belly band in the house until he could be housebroken. If you’re looking for a new friend, please consider giving Mickey a chance at life with a family.

Pixie and Trixie are two 6 month old kittens. They were found behind a dresser in a garage
on a night when it was only -4 degrees.
Apparently they were hiding from a large dog that was trying to get to
them. Pixie is the longer haired kitty
and Trixie has short hair. They’re very
healthy and would love to find a home where they could grow up together.

Rowdy was also found in the cold garage with the girls and would particularly like a home with children so he always has someone to play with him. He’s also a healthy 6 month old kitten.

Tinky is the little baby blind toy Aussie that we accepted last month. Sara K. was so kind enough to pay for all of his veterinary care and now he’s working on socialization to be ready for a home. He’s learning to trust and learning how to be a regular dog. We have great hopes for Tinky!

Success stories:
The success story this month is our thank you to YOU for all the people who helped out when we so desperately needed cat food donations. The response was unbelievable and we thank you so very much!!
